Can you rely on Santa Claus? Jolly Old St. Nicholas is an important part of western society and many people matured using this type of magical icon. Recently I came upon the notion that Santa represents a unique archetype. In Jungian psychology, archetype is identified as an inherited memory represented within the mind from a universal symbol and observed in dreams and myths.

In searching for these particular symbolic images with this dear old man I found that which Santa Claus stands for could also be used to motivate us in creating for that new year. I see him as being a fun-loving guy which brings us joy, love, excitement and happiness. It’s said he makes all our dreams and wishes come true. In this season we are loaded with expectations, the brilliance of light-filled homes, the fun for being with friends and neighbors to celebrate life, and the joy and gratitude of giving and receiving.

I learn that capture the magic santa reflects several archetypes. He can be seen within the Innocent archetype, helping us to trust, to hope and also to assume that a greater day lies ahead. He is clearly driven by faith and trust, bring that hope and giving us that faith along with the trust that will be well.

The Caregiver archetype, however, is just not inside the exercise of power which is the motive, nevertheless the drive to bestow care on individuals who need it: the care, concern and nurturing they lack but deserve. He is about giving to others fulfilling their requirements. And that he will not ask for anything in return except a cookie, glass of milk or some eggnog. He is apparently an effective guy, settling on who gets a new Nintendo and who gets t-shirts or shoes. If we are excellent and if we believe, Santa will guarantee we get everything we want.

A tremendous part of Santa’s story will be the magical transformation from his rising up a chimney with the touch of his nose together with his yearly trek around the globe. And on top of that, his flying reindeer without GPS onboard is nothing short of miraculous, indeed. He magically brings gratitude, compassion and love to all, one child’s heart at any given time. Santa is the quintessential Magician archetype helping us transform and transcend current reality to locate new ways of dealing, being and succeeding.

When we are coming up with our dreams, our visions, and our selections for 2010, let’s all make sure to use our Santa Claus model in conjunction with the Law of Attraction, Creation and Allowing. As you may have selected then more clearly defined your alternatives in creating your 2010 Journey, take advantage of this strategy to shift your beliefs and allowing of this that you desire.

Sometimes simply the subtle shift from viewing our images from a mature aspect of looking to force, worrying over and wondering how things will change, to the wide-eyed expectations and faith of kids. A vital part of the ability of Allowing is usually to let go and let God. Releasing our attachment to old beliefs, ideas and teachings permits us to available to the Infinite Possibilities of the Universe.

Then too, we can easily liken Santa’s management techniques to a universal manager. Are you able to envision him bringing toys to everyone, world-wide, within just one night? And all punctually and within budget? That’s what we’re taught the Universe are capable of doing for people, if we transform it over to God/Source. Within the book “Ask & It Can Be Given” one of the Proven Processes is catchusanta it to the manager. Since we set our goals, it’s like delegating to some Universal Manager. And as we take a step back, and enable the Universe set things in place, we CREATE! Remember, we’re not letting go of choices, we’re merely turning over all the information and creating our choices.

I urge you to pay attention to giving over to your Universal Manager all the stuff you are feeling you want to do during this holiday week. You’ll think it is amazing that when we shift our focus of reality, our reality changes. I’ve done this personally when I’ve felt overwhelmed by each of the chores I feel I must do. Amazingly, some get done, some don’t, although some just don’t seem extremely important. I’ve had situations when my daughters and daughters-in-law would offer to perform a few of the baking. I’ve learned to take help and reply with a grateful “Yes!” This method is priceless in every areas of life, not simply the holidays. What The Law States of Attraction is unfolding and orchestrating all that must happen to bring me my desires, Now.
